I have given several proposals to the EGCS -- for my continuing to host the website, for my assistance in transferring the site, etc. My proposals have essentially been ignored. Nobody has even thad the courtesy to get back to me and say, "No, thank you."
I don't expect the undying gratitude of the EGCS for my assistance with the website over the past years. But I also don't expect sheer indifference, and simply taking me for granted.
Therefore, this site will be shut down on 10 October 2010.
The EGCS, quite properly, owns the domain names, and they can point what are called the nameservers for the domains elsewhere at any time.
Or they can engage with me, in a professional manner, to see if we can reach some sort of mutually sensible relationship.
Silence, in this case, is not golden. And the level of silence will increase on 10 October.
I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
