Stithians Show - 13 July 2009
Stithians Show 2009 was held on Monday 13th July 2009. This is probably the best one day show for Guernsey exhibits in the country and we were not disappointed on this occasion.
Six exhibitors namely: The Grose Family, The Hichens Family, The Senior Family, The Warren Family, David Christophers and Ian Rowe, had 20 cattle forward. It was particulary pleasing to see The Groses' Grandchildren once again out in force. Also the Cornish Future Golden Breeders were making their presence known. Judge for the day was Phillip Cox and was very pleased with the quality of cattle on show.
His Champion came from the Warren family with Clay Hill Glenda by Easby Alacrity. This was another astute purchase from the Foord's in Sussex and will surely be one to watch in the future.
